Jake Calvert
District 1 Fair Board MemberJake Calvert is a lifelong Cleveland County resident. He and wife, Samantha, have raised three sons: Jacob, (USAF), Marshall, and Paten, in northwest Norman. They raise cattle on family land and feed hormone free/antibiotic free beef for individual consumers.
Jake is a former Cleveland County 4-H and Norman FFA member who achieved the honor of Cleveland County 4-H Hall of Fame. He is now the leader of the Circle C Livestock and Judging 4-H Club.
He looks forward to serving the residents of District 1 in Cleveland County by continuing the tradition of the County Fair and by helping move the fair forward for future generations.

Christa Spears
District 3 Fair Board MemberChrista Spears grew up in Lexington and was a part of the Lexington FFA Chapter. She served as an officer, showed cattle and obtained the honor of State Farmer.
“I made it as far as Stillwater to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science.”
Christa lives in Lexington with her husband Ryan. They have three children and two mothers-in-law.
“I have served OEC members for 18 years and counting. We raise a little beef and ride a few horses. I enjoy raising my family and when time allows I just like to watch the cows.”

Carol Doner
District 2 Fair Board MemberCarol Doner is dedicated to her family and community. She met her husband, Byron, at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds after a 4-H event and married him in 1975. They enjoy their 5 grandkids and one great grandchild, most of whom live on their compound.
Carol has served as the County 4-H Foundation President since 2010. She has been involved in OHCE since 1998, assisted in founding Night Owls in 2007, and enjoys serving on the County and State level. Carol serves as the SCABA “Artist Blacksmith” State Sec/Treasurer. The Santa Store at Lakeview Elementary PTA has captured her heart, and she has served as PTA Treasurer.
Carol has proudly served on the Cleveland County Fairboard since 2010, and loves being a voice for OHCE and 4-H.
Growing up in Norman, Carol achieved Cleveland County 4-H Hall of Fame and Cleveland County 4-H Queen. She was also an FFA Coronation Attendant and later FFA student/member. Carol is a retired Office Manager from E & S Equipment, LLC.

Carl Mize
District 3 Fair Board MemberCarl graduated from Sulphur High School in 1978. He was a FFA State Farmer for Sulphur.
He has been married to Robin for 37 years. They have 3 daughters and 10 grandchildren. All of his daughters were State Farmer’s for Noble FFA. The youngest was an American Farmer. As a family they have enjoyed the livestock business raising hogs, sheep and goats.
Carl is retired. He is an avid wrestling fan and has devoted over 30+ years to the little league wrestling community.

John McDaniel
District 2 Fair Board MemberJohn graduated from Moore High School; he has three children Michelle, Heather and Michael. He has 21 grandchildren.
John retired from the US Postal Service after 41 years. John is a Dairy Farmer and raises show birds (Poultry). He serves on the board of the Oklahoma State Poultry Federation.

Jerry Calvert
District 1 Fair Board MemberJerry is the “baby” of four boys raised by their Mom in the Ten Mile Flats. He attended Norman High School, graduating in 1966. While a student, he participated in FFA, Vo-AG, and wresting.
Jerry is a Veteran of the United States Army, having served three years, with one year being in Vietnam. He also served a total of five years in the reserves and the National Guard.
After 18 years with Hiland Dairy Foods (formerly Gilt Edge), Jerry opened his welding shop in west Norman on what has been Calvert land for many years. Today, he says he is “semi-self-unemployed”, which translates into, he works if/when he wants to!
Jerry is married to Sue and together they share a great life with their kids, grandkids and great-grandkids! He is a member of the Canadian Rivers Old Iron Club and the Single Action Shooting Society.

Danny Belinson
District 1 Fair Board MemberDanny Belinson grew up in Lawton and comes from a military family. He is a graduate of Eisenhower High School where he was in FFA and on the high school rodeo circuit. He studied for 2 years at Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City majoring in Horticulture.
Danny made his 25 year career as a 6G certified licensed Welder, licensed Mechanical Journeyman, and Sheet Metal Worker for the Local Union 124. He is married to Tammy Belinson and between them they have five children and nine grandchildren.
Danny’s hobbies include fishing, hunting and riding his Harley. Danny is a devoted Sooner fan of OU sports, primarily football and women’s softball.

David Spaulding
District 2 Fair Board MemberDavid Spaulding has deep roots in Cleveland County having grown up in northeast Cleveland County. He attended Robinson School where he met his wife, Mary. They have been married for 49 years.
David has lived on the family homestead for 50 years. His father was in the auto salvage business and David followed his footsteps owning and operating S&S Auto Salvage on north porter. His dad and mom were involved in 4-H and so was he and his sister, and that tradition has continued with his children and now his grandchildren active in 4-H.
The family has often volunteered with the county fair, helping with the auctioneer event each year.
David was encouraged by friends to run for the Cleveland Count Fair Board and was elected in 2022.
“I look forward to working behind the scenes and serving the community,” David said.
David is no stranger to volunteer work, having served on his church board and in other capacities, but said he looks forward to learning more about the nuts and bolts of putting on a county fair.

Ronnie Oehlschlager
District 3 Fair Board MemberRonnie Oehlschlager was born in Lamar, Colorado but his family moved to southeast Oklahoma when he was two years old, and he was raised on a large commercial cow-calf operation near Poteau, Oklahoma. He showed Santa Gertrudis cattle during his time in FFA at Poteau High School where he graduated in 1985.
Ronnie started college at Connors State College in Warner, Oklahoma. where he received his Associates Degree in Agriculture in 1987. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis on ranch operations and graduated in 1990.
Ronnie has had a long and varied career in agriculture from managing purebred and commercial cow-calf ranches, operating a 500 sow farrow to wean hog operation, owning his own herd of commercial cows, worked as a veterinary technician in two different large animal veterinary clinics as well as rodeoing. He also worked in newspaper advertising before getting his certification to teach agriculture education in 2015. He taught two years at Muskogee and one year at Checotah before coming to Lexington in 2018 to be the Ag-Ed teacher/FFA Advisor. He and his wife, Christy, own and operate Triangle O Show Goats which focuses on producing show wethers and does for FFA and 4-H members.
Ronnie and Christy have been married for 28 years and have two children and seven grandchildren.

Bryan Jenkins
Fairgrounds ManagerFairgrounds Manager Bryan Jenkins has devoted more than three decades of service to Cleveland County, all working at the fairgrounds.
“I started as a maintenance man at the county fairgrounds in 1987. Later, I was moved to maintenance supervisor and then in 2014, I moved to the manager’s position.”
Jenkins has deep roots in the county. He lives in Goldsby and farms part-time, helping his father who is a Cleveland County farmer. He is also a member of The Canadian River Old Iron Club (CROIC) which hosts tractor pulls and other events at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds.
Retired now as a fire fighter, Jenkins volunteered with the Goldsby Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years.
“I just wanted to help my community and improve the community I live in,” he said.
Other previous or current memberships include Cleveland County Junior Livestock Organization, Norman AG booster, 4-H Club and FFA. He is a graduate of Norman High school and received a Business Degree from Rose State College. He and wife Sandy have been married for 30 plus years and are members of the Goldsby Baptist Church. They have three children, Brittany, Brandy and Brent and two grandchildren, Emma and Bailey

Larry Whitehead
Maintenance SupervisorLarry has worked for the Cleveland County Fairgrounds since 2008; he is a graduate of Dibble High School.
Larry currently lives in Noble with wife Amie and son Timothy. They attend Emanuel Baptist church of Purcell.
Before becoming a staff member of the fairgrounds, his memberships includes CCJLO, Noble Ag Boosters and a 4-H volunteer.
During his free time, Larry enjoys hunting, fishing, flea marketing and dominoes night with men’s fellowship night at his church.

Sandy McClure
Customer ServiceSandy is no stranger to the fairgrounds; she served on the Fair board for 25 years, before retiring. She loved serving at the fairgrounds so much, after retiring from the Fair Board she would work to help with the Cleveland County free fair.
After the 2014 fair, Sandy became Customer Service rep for the fairgrounds. She is responsible for booking events at the fairgrounds and renting the RV spots.
She has been married to Jerry for 53 years; they have 2 children Tony and Jennifer and 5 grandchildren.
Sandy is a member of Night Owls OHCE; she has served as a 4-H leader and on the Board of 4-H foundation, Moore and Norman Ag boosters and the Moore PTA council. She graduated from Moore High school.

Holly Rains
Administrative AssistantHolly has lived in Noble for over 12 years with her husband Lane and her two boys Richard and Howard.
She is the Administrative Assistant. Before joining the fairgrounds in 2014, Holly worked for the City of Norman’s Animal Control Division.
Holly, Lane and her two sons were active members of BSA Troop 241 of Norman.
She is a member of the OHCE Night Owls
In her free time she enjoys gardening, cross stitching and spending time with her family out on the lake. Before making Oklahoma her home, she lived in Texas for 19 years and is a graduate of Bridgeport High School in Bridgeport Texas.

Roger Harris
MaintenanceRoger Harris is a graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Prior to coming to the fairgrounds in 2015 he spent most of his career in the distribution.
His only son, Zach attends the University of Oklahoma.

John Zedeker
MaintenanceJohn is from Norman, he was a member of 4-H and the Norman FFA, he showed livestock. He has nieces and nephews that show in the county. John is in maintenance, he keeps our tractors, lawn mowers, and general equipment in good working order.
When he is not at work he likes going off roading.
He has one daughter Shelby and three grandchildren
